Hi, I'm Annette Bailey, owner of Country Squirrels-R-US. I am a full-time artist and farmerette living and working in north Florida. I sell my work through different marketplaces, i.e., Etsy (countrysquirrelsrus.etsy.com), eBay and Amazon along with my own countrysquirrelsrus.com website. In my shop you can find collectible sculptures, sewn cuties, original paintings, as well as professional archival prints.

A few years ago I was contacted through Etsy by a lady who wanted her five dogs as her wedding cake topper. I looked forward to making these and she said she cried when she opened the mail with her cuties safely wrapped inside. So, I thought, hmmmm.. wedding cake toppers. The thought came to mind of making a set of love bird wedding cake toppers. By the next day I had sculpted a set and posted them on Etsy. Custom orders flooded in. A year later after fear of death by exhaustion of working full-time and sculpting full-time at night, I made the decision to follow my creative dreams of being a full-time artist. I give thanks to our Lord every day for the talents He has given me.

My work combines my love of fine art as well as crafts…Everything I hear, see or touch brings inspiration. I am constantly creating so be sure to stay tuned to see what I am working on next!

Along with art, I am an animal rescuer and own a small organic heirloom farm in north Florida where I love growing healthy food for people. Large free-range pens are also being built for various rare and endangered fowl and livestock. With the Lord's blessing and to His will, I will soon be able to purchase a larger piece of property to expand my endeavors.
